Learn more about a sustainable and community driven development located only a 10-minute walk to Playa Tamarindo.
We welcome you to a thoughtful Costa Rica Eco Community that seeks to walk softly on the land, live in tropical contemporary homes, and enjoy a tranquil pura vida lifestyle. The concept is a small, wellness-lifestyle community that integrates environmental preservation and freedom of personal choices, all within a walkable beachside surf community.
Tamarindo Park came to life through the forming of a partnership between two Costa Rican developers named Victor Cerdas and Eugenio Román. In collaboration they are creating this stunning tropical project with the contributions from talented architects, Richard Muller and Nayib Robles from RM Architecture & Engineering.
Richard Muller has over 40 years of experience and a comprehensive understanding of the unique tropical climate found in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica as well as the diverse landscape, overcoming the challenges that tropical climates present with creative solutions.
Definitely, Tamarindo Park represents a really unique project, since it borders 3.5 Km the world famous National Park Marino de las Baulas and the estuary San Francisco.
Location

Just a short walk from two world-renowned beaches, Tamarindo Bay and Langosta, the area surrounding Tamarindo Park brings residents endless opportunities for fun, adventure, and relaxation.
With predominantly off-shore winds, year-round, stunning sunsets, and average water temperatures around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, it’s a true paradise, especially for surfers and adventure seekers.
Tamarindo’s growth over the last year has been exponential, however back at Tamarindo Park, the most important part of their mission is to ensure that the paradise maintains a sustainable balance.
With more than 200 shops and restaurants, banks, medical centers and a local airport there is ease both in living as well as in getting to Tamarindo.
In a stroll through town, you can meander past more than 100 restaurants such as Pangas, Agua Salada, Witch’s Rock, and Bambu Sushi. The bustling town is also home to bars, nightclubs, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, medical centers, and most anything else you need or want for daily life.
Tamarindo Park represents a unique Costa Rican gated community in the desirable Tamarindo area of Guanacaste. Within minutes you can walk to the beach or center of town. Direct flights to Liberia International Airport bring travelers from major US cities within 5 hours. New direct flights from Europe are added as well. The airport is only a one hour drive or a 20 minute domestic flight to the Costa Rica eco community.
The National Park Marino de Las Baulas borders the project, which allows our homeowners to connect with the rich fauna and flora that make Costa Rica one of the most desired places to travel or move to.
Tropical Modern Design

Tamarindo Park believes that the intrinsic value of Pura Vida Lifestyle lies in the natural abundance of the fauna and flora. That is why all of the home designs include wide open glass panels and high ceilings allowing natural cross ventilation. With flush tropical gardens that support indoor outdoor living, wellbeing in this tropical paradise is ensured.
Currently they are in the first phase called “The Hilltop” which is an exclusive gated community, with underground electricity, paved roads, security and only a 10 minutes walk to the beach and center of vibrant town Tamarindo.
All homes are build with concrete blocks and high end material such as Kohler for the bathrooms, Nalakalu (who is a local furniture designer and producer) for kitchen and bathroom cabinets as well as interior doors and closets, GE Profile kitchen appliances, Mitsubishi air conditioner with 10 years of warranty and Eurovista double windows.
Each home comes with an ensuite bathroom in every bedroom, a private swimming pool, a covered BBQ area and native tropical landscaping. At the moment there are 9 different model homes starting with 3 bedroom up to 7 bedroom homes with ocean view or no view.
Most of the homes have a separated structure which can be used for rental income, office space, gym or as a guest house. The thoughtful design of Richard Muller creates not only an incredible indoor/outdoor living experience but also integrates important aspects such as respecting some of the law 7600 for people with disabilities which increases the value of the home and rental potential.
Tamarindo Park Foundation

The Tamarindo Park Foundation makes sure that every step we take is mindful of the impacts on our surroundings and aligns with the eco-friendly footprint of Costa Rica.
At the moment the foundation is working on the project to establish more outdoor living space for the community of Tamarindo. In front of the Hilltop, the development is currently designing a park (designed by the landscape architect Bernal Sasserath) for the community of Tamarindo that integrates walking trails, electric golf car roads that go all the way to the beach, wildlife watching stations, a kids playground as well as an amphitheater for cultural events.
As Tamarindo Park continues to advance with the first phase, they will move forward with the next stages, which is located right beside the world famous national park Marino de las Baulas (untouchable protected land).
The finca (land) spans 37 hectares (91.4 acres) and the project is committed in maintaining as much as 75% of the nature in the property. The concept is to live as one with nature which will be achieved by implementing permaculture, regenerative agriculture and reforestation practices, as well as more common sustainable actions.
Homeowners of the Hilltop can enjoy all the amenities such as a wellness center, fitness center, additional hiking and mountain bike trails, a community garden, a small commercial space and an exclusive ocean view sunset club. The development has already completed a paddle tennis court and they are in the process of establishing pickleball and tennis courts.
