The Location

Tamarindo first gained popularity in the mid 90’s with the surf flick, The Endless Summer 2. Since then, there has been a steady growth of tourists and investors visiting the area. Tamarindo is located in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica in the Northwest portion. It is the driest region of the country (300 days of sunshine yearly) and boasts the reputation of having the most beautiful beaches paired with incredible waves for surfers. You can walk from one end of Tamarindo to the other in about 20 minutes with over 50 restaurants, bars, clinics, fine dining, yoga, boutique shopping, and grocery stores. Several bi-lingual private schools are within 30 min from Tamarindo center. Liberia International Airport is 1 hour away and international bi-lingual schools are readily available.

The Development

Senderos is a private, gated community with sweeping views of the Pacific, the National Marine Park’s beaches and estuary, and the town of Tamarindo, Costa Rica’s surf capital.
